I am an award winning copywriter who started life above the line and over the years have learned to straddle it, leap over it and tightrope walk on it. I am at home working on everything from On-pack promotion to Online content, via TV, Radio, OOH and everything in between. A great idea can come to life in any media and I've done whatever it takes to make that happen, from starring in my own films to becoming a seven foot crocodile. If you've got a creative project that needs a special something - I'd love to help.

Associate Creative Director at iris Worldwide

May 2010 – Sep 2016 London, UK

Looking after the MINI UK account, overseeing fully integrated national campaigns from Outdoor and Radio to Digital and Social.

I was also an integral part of the MINI pitch win and enjoyed working on and growing the account.

I looked after the MINI brand tone of voice, as well as overseeing and directing creative teams and copywriters on concepts and longer copy.

Working with designers, art workers, digital creatives and our innovation team to fine-tune messaging and concepts.

During my time at Iris I also worked on Barclaycard, Orange, Shell, Dominos, Sony, Powerade, Polar, Quit UK and AQA (winning a place in the 2012 D&AD Annual for my work with Quit UK).

Freelance creative at Various

McCann Erickson – In-store posters for Nestle brands in cinemas and leisure complexes.

Coutts – I created a campaign the Wolf Blass sponsorship of the Six Nations Rugby, involving National Press, a takeover of Waterloo station and roads around Twickenham.

WARL – Overseeing P&G TVC production.

Creative/Copywriter at WARL

Nov 2006 – Nov 2009 London, UK

I was brand guardian across our portfolio of P&G brands: Bold, Lenor, Oral-B, Febreze, Flash, Olay, Pantene, Fairy, Gillette and Ariel. Creating everything from TVCs to recording a song for Oral-B and for Recycle now.

I spent many days working with P&G at their UK HQ. Not to mention creating a character for their Oral-B Stages toothbrush brand, that eventually involved me becoming a seven-foot crocodile.

I developed great relationships with clients like Jeyes (Parazone, Bloo) who I worked with to create a TVC and two seasons of idents.

I also worked across clients such as MUJI, Tesco, JAZZ FM, Moss, Recyclenow, Superdrug and Trinity Mirror Group, creating Outdoor, Radio, Instore, digital CRM and a 15-minute film.

Creative/Copywriter at cdp Travissully

Jan 2003 – Nov 2006 London, UK

I was offered a job after creating the pitch-winning idea for Canon’s Europe-wide sponsorship campaign for Euro 2004. The campaign ran across TV, Idents, Press and Digital – which involved making football-result-based films overnight to be posted the following morning.

I went on to make Digital content, Experiential and Press for Sol Beer, scripting my own questions and shooting interviews for their relationship with Hed Kandi.

Travelled across Europe for the Netherlands Board of Tourism to create travel guides and Press

Wrote for Norway Tourism and ended up in Ibiza to shoot a series of online content that I created for Benson & Hedges.

And still found time to do work for Toshiba, Hamlet Cigars, Mayfair, Bacardi, Kikkoman soy sauce and NEC.
